Early life was a challenge.
I struggled through my adolescent years where art became my world,
A wondrous place to escape life's uncertainties.

A time of limited output followed after marriage and childrearing.
During this time I explored other mediums,
such as collage, sculpting and rugmaking.
For several years, I dabbled in 3-D texture wall hangings.
This was my expansive period --- limitless freedom for rich expression.

Art is as integral as breathing .
It represents the way I think, see, trust, touch and believe.
